Two people are dead after two cars crashed in the County of Brant on Saturday evening.

Ontario Provincial Police Const. Ken Johnston said officers responded to a report of the collision at roughly 7:45 p.m. on Vanessa Road, west of Simcoe Street and Highway 24.

Johnston told CBC News two cars were involved.

Video from the scene shows one of the vehicles flipped on its side.

Police say they found two drivers dead.

Johnston confirmed one victim was a Stoney Creek resident and the other was from Norfolk County.

It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved and if there were any other injuries.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families at this time,” Johnston said.
