Ashley Tisdale and her husband, Christopher French, are looking to spin a handsome profit off their Los Feliz residence ahead of welcoming their first child together later this year. The Mediterranean-style villa, which boasts four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, is currently on the market for $5.795 million, a considerable bump from the $4.1 million they paid for it in 2019. Originally built in 1923, the 4,214-square-foot home blends Old World charm with modern sensibilities, as it was extensively updated prior to Tisdale’s purchase.
There are finished European oak floors throughout, and the kitchen even boasts a unique ceiling made up of similar wood boards. Several of the walls in the main living areas, including the front foyer, feature bold, patterned wallpaper; others, like those in the formal dining area, feature a dark greenish-gray hue.
The kitchen is stunningly updated and sunlit, with white subway tiles running floor-to-ceiling and a unique fireplace built into a casual breakfast nook off to one side. “I never thought how nice it is to have a fireplace in your kitchen,” Tisdale captioned a photo she shared to Instagram last month. Steel-lined glass sliders open from the space out to the backyard.
The five bedrooms are all located on the upper level, and feature pristine white walls. The main suite has its own spacious covered balcony, accessible through a set of French doors, as well as a vintage-style bathroom with white marble floors and intricate black-and-white tile walls.
Back downstairs, the deck is perfect for entertaining, with a partially covered area that can easily accommodate a formal outdoor dining area, as well as a lounge space with a built-in grill. Steps down from the deck are a rectangular pool and a two-story guesthouse. The second floor is currently used as a recording studio.
