Bunnings is bringing back its Lego-inspired miniature building block set just in time for Christmas.

In 2019 customers across Australia quickly stripped shelves of the $30 kit, which can be built into an enormous warehouse with an outdoor garden centre and sausage sizzle stand.

The limited-edition 168-piece toy is the perfect Christmas gift for kids aged six and over or for adult DIY-lovers who still feel ‘young at heart’.

An official launch date is yet to be announced, but shoppers have been encouraged to keep their eyes peeled in stores or sign up to the Bunnings newsletter for word on the release.

The blocks in the set are compatible with standard Lego bricks, which means pieces from separate Lego kits can be added to the warehouse to achieve a different design.

Last year customers were particularly delighted over the inclusion of the sausage sizzle stand – an iconic Australian barbecue which raises money for various charities outside Bunnings each weekend.

Australian chef Shane Delia previously told Daily Mail Australia you can’t get more ‘Aussie’ than the humble sausage sizzle.

‘The simple food brings people together,’ he said.

Shoppers rejoiced after the news was shared on Facebook, with many saying they ‘can’t wait’ to get their hands on the set.

‘I want this for Christmas please,’ one man said, tagged his friend.

‘I need this! We missed out last year,’ a woman added.

Once released the product will be available in Bunnings stores across Australia, while stocks last.
